The Past

THE PAST

The past is such a beautiful thing,

the past is such a painful thing,

the past is always remembered.

I grab my pain, stood still, I remember the past

the broken record, eyes peeled. Pay attention!

I might have some life lessons 

the kid  who was useless to everyone

the boy who was below everyone,

the young man who was looked down upon by everyone.

welcome to the mindset of a sadist

but he didn't choose to be this way

he didn't want to be broken

he just wanted the love and affection

the love and attention

but its too much to ask for

the past is what forms the present

and the present is what forms the future 

but does a broken heart have to heal countless times to keep up with the future?

how many more tears are you willing to drop for her or him, because of her or him?

how many hearts will you break along the way because of her or him?

how much ounces of depression are you ready to shove down your throat

she won't leave you,he won't leave you

she will haunt you,he will eat you

she will remind you,he relapse you

she calls herself "THE PAST". and he calls himself "THE CRINGE"
